Mechanical engineering uses systematic knowledge of mechanics, which is part of the laws of nature, to create machine functions. We focused on the natural phenomenon that is an element of mechanical engineering knowledge and expressed it with the painter Aona Hayashi. The artist uses a technique called "monotype," in which a half sheet of paper is placed on top of a boldly drawn image in black ink, and pressure is applied to copy the image.
