Here We Drink is an awareness campaign addressing the rampant sewage pollution in England. Beginning locally, an interactive installation of Ted Hughes' poem 'If' will activate the riverside village of Boston Spa to rise up against sewage pollution. Expanding on this momentum, a countrywide advertising and social media campaign will be launched, using Ted Hughes’ powerful words, the visual language of the installation, and regional sewage pollution data, to get the nation talking about this issue. Finally, Google's variable font technology will be used in the new variation of Cormorant, Cormorant Contaminated, letting individual citizens join the fight against sewage.
